Former Beekeeper and Current Mayor of Sarajevo Opened Bee Fest

pcelarstvoThe 11th Bee Fest will be held from 11-15 September on Trg Oslobođenja Alija Izetbegović. The current Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić and former beekeeper opened the festival. He said that beekeeping is a hobby that isn’t easy to resist, and that bees are a unique community.

This fair gathers more than 70 exhibitors from the beekeeping sector that come from all over B&H and countries in the region.

The fair is a competitive event and awards will be given out for the best exhibitors, as well as the best artistic and literary works for the Medicum contest.
