Defense Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sifet Podzic met with Parliamentary Military Commissioner Bosko Siljegovic on Tuesday and pointed out that four members of Bosnian Armed Forces are infected with coronavirus, 60 are in self-isolation and seven are cured.

There are no infected members in peacekeeping missions outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, and all cadets are in good health.

Siljegovic stressed that, at present, one of the most important projects is the improvement of health care and development of medical service in the Armed Forces of BiH, which will be further enhanced by the opening of primary care ambulances in barracks.

In his view, the Ministry and the Armed Forces professionally implemented all necessary measures to combat the pandemic. The Ministry commended return of the cadets from Turkey and participation of the AF BiH helicopters in firefighting operations in BiH.
