Four types of drones and special ammunition are being developed in BiH

As Klix.ba learns from sources involved in the development, four types of aircraft are currently being developed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which three are kamikaze and reconnaissance, and one type is a bomber-reconnaissance.

The source, involved in the process, clarifies that what is characterized as a kamikaze is primarily a small kamikaze carrying a certain type of warhead. The other two are kamikaze-scouts and are drones that are armed, but have reconnaissance equipment on them and may or may not act as kamikaze.

The third type, the fourth type of aircraft is a bomber drone that has reconnaissance equipment and also has the ability to carry ammunition.

What is specific is that it is not about standard ammunition, they do not carry mortar ammunition, but ammunition that has been specially developed for that type of drones.

“We avoid the use of commercial ammunition for two reasons. The first is the impossibility of obtaining it, and the second reason is elementary mathematics that says it is expensive and not suitable for certain targets. We have developed an equivalent of that grain that is much more advanced, many times cheaper and can be used everywhere to produce”, says the Klix.ba source.

He emphasizes that everything is done as part of the domestic dedicated industry, some of the engineers were educated outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, but all are residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the complete production aspect will be in Bosnia and Herzegovina in all dedicated industry factories that can be obtained, Klix.ba writes.

Top experts are involved in the project, special fibers and composites are being developed. Drone bodies are made of composites, and even composites are made in Bosnia and Herzegovina and tested. These are materials that are much lighter than aluminum and plastic, but also much stronger.

As for the complaint that certain ministries were not informed, the fact is that it is a development, and that after it is completed, everything will be passed through the legal framework to be made official and registered.

As Klix.ba learns, the production will depend on the global market, initially a few copies will be produced until a buyer is found, and the end of the project is expected in five to six months.

The assembly technology will be assigned to domestic companies of dedicated industries who will then be able to market it at their own discretion.
