Amid the deteriorating international security situation, and also as a precautionary measure, the commander of Operation Althea has accepted an offer from the French state to carry out several jet training flights over BiH in the coming weeks.
The Charles-de-Gaulle aircraft carrier is currently undergoing operational training in the Mediterranean, and as of Monday (March 7th), its Rafale aircraft will fly over the Western Balkans, including BiH, EUFOR said.
In these times when the security balance in Europe has been disturbed, the EU is showing its constant commitment and determination to support a secure and stable environment in BiH and the Western Balkans, according to EUFOR.
