Fule Will Be in BiH by End of April at the Latest

The European Commissioner for EU Enlargement Stefan Fule will visit BiH by April at the latest, where he expects that political parties would be ready to find a solution for the implementation of the “Sejdić-Finci” case.

‘’It would be the first example that BiH politicians, and not someone from the international community, comes up with a solution’’, said Fule.

He said for BHT1 that the special representative of the EU Peter Sorensen, with a new and strengthened mandate, would assist in the efforts of local authorities to come up with a solution.

Fule said that he likes the idea of the US regarding reconstruction of the FBiH Constitution. Instead of exerting pressure on politicians, Patrick Moon is looking for people from civil society and academia that are brave to search for an answer to the question “What type of FBiH do we want and what needs to be done?”

He pointed out that this message is from the citizens of BiH, not the US or EU, and he added that they support such an approach.

“We are ready to build on it further. This is actually the secret of all future steps that we are talking about’’, said Fule.
