Belma Soljanin, an activist by whose death numerous persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina were shocked, was buried today at the Vlakovo city cemetery in Sarajevo.

A mother of three died from the effects of the coronavirus, a few days after giving birth to the boy.

The pain, sorrow, and tears today could not go unnoticed on the faces of those who had accompanied Belma to her final rest.

In the 35th week of her pregnancy, Soljanin was admitted to the Podhrastovi isolation ward in Sarajevo.

After giving birth, she was returned to the isolation ward.

She was a co-founder of the Association and Facebook group Center for Pregnant Women and Young Mothers – TIM Counseling Center, where women from all over BiH and the region sought advice and shared experiences about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and motherhood.
