Djokic expressed satisfaction with the opportunity for this company to start their production and economic activity in the RS, noting that foreign investors have a favorable treatment here and that they are maximally protected, as announced by the relevant ministry.

He also stated that the RS has a very stimulating tax policy, and added that the base for taxation in the field of leather and textile is very low.

“Moreover, we have a well-trained workforce on our disposal, and the Government of the RS is ready to provide assistance in terms of direct subsidies for new workplaces”, stated Djokic.

There is a number of available industrial zones, attractive locations, and production facilities in this BH entity, and he also proposed several locations for industrial production in this area and the area of Brcko District.

Representatives of German company Burgschneider noted that they are positively surprised with conditions for business operations in the RS and that they will share their experiences with other potential investors from Germany, as announced by the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining of the RS.
