German shares rose slightly

berlin2FRANKFURT, April 6 (Xinhua) — German shares rose slightly on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 13.35 points, or 0.11 percent, to close at 12,230.89 points.

Energy groups RWE and E.ON gained the most among the blue chips, up by 1.03 percent and 0.71 percent respectively. German insurance financial services company Allianz edged up 0.61 percent.

Commerzbank, Thyssenkrupp and HeidelbergCement were the top three losers in the day, losing 0.77 percent, 0.48 percent and 0.48 percent respectively.

Allianz was the most-traded share with a turnover of 254.34 million euros (271.28 million U.S. dollars).
