The Good Will Bazaar was organized last night in Trebinje, representing gastro products of Orthodox and Muslim tradition.
At the Good Will Bazaar organized at the Travunije Square in front of the Osman pasha’s Mosque, visitors had a chance to taste traditional dishes, mostly treats of Orthodox nd Muslim cuisine from Herzegovina, prepared by women who are active in the Board for Interreligious Cooperation Trebinje.
“Our aim was to show that we can do together the small things that mean life,” said the priest Dražen Tupanjanin.
Main imam in Trebinje Ilham Puce said that the Islamic Community is always open for all kinds of interreligious cooperation and the promotion of openness and tolerance.
“By presenting dishes from our cuisines, we are promoting our traditions and cultures and showing how great the wealth of our diversity is in one place,” Puce said.
Visitors of the Bazaar had an opportunity to also taste coffee from two-hundred-liter coffee pot by coffee producer from Visoko, Vispak.
Organizer of the event is the Board for Interreligious Cooperation Trebinje, with the support of the Interreligious Council of BiH and the Catholic Relief Service.
