12833225_1122317091152579_2101671833_nAlthough the fight for equality, respect, the right to vote, the right to work and generally the greater rights of women were the foundation for launching first initiatives for the rights of women back in the middle of the 19th century, none of this was mentioned in Goražde yesterday.

The International Women’s Day was a true strike, after a long period of unfavorable weather conditions and depression.

The scent of spring, sunny day and festive mood were enough for the streets and gardens in the city to exude a special atmosphere, although it was just an ordinary working day for the majority of those to whom this holiday is dedicated.

There was no shortage of flowers, especially carnations and roses, on the streets and in flower shops.
