Government of the Federation of BiH decides on the Increase of Pensions

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today’s emergency meeting held by telephone, passed a Decision determining the increase of the lowest pension in the amount of five percent starting from pensions for November 2022.

The Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance is responsible for the implementation of this decision, which enters into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of FBiH.

As explained by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the goal of today’s decision is the implementation of the conclusion of the FBiH Government dated 10/13/2022, which mandates the Federal Minister of Finance, the Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy and the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance to take steps and prepare the necessary implementing acts to increase the lowest pension in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the highest possible percentage.

This conclusion was reached by the Government of FBiH on the initiative of the Prime Minister of FBiH, it was announced by the Office of the Government of FBiH for Public Relations.
