Great Fun in the Center of Tuzla: Children at the Freedom Square welcomed the New Year

Children of Tuzla yesterday welcomed the Children’s New Year just before 1 pm at the Freedom Square. More than two thousand people have passed the central city square since the beginning of the program at 12 pm, and all of them had had a lot to see.

In the entertainment part of the program, members of the city children’s choir “Slavuj”, “Balsika” orchestra, Children’s and Youth Organization “Osmijeh za osmijeh” from Tuzla and students of the Music High School Cestmir Mirko Dusek Tuzla.

“We made an effort in doing a whole day program where our fellow citizens can enjoy, starting at 12 pm with children’s New Year. The biggest party is tonight, when we will welcome 2018 with Frajle and the big fireworks,” says Maja Hodzic, spokeswoman for the Public Institution Center for Culture of Tuzla.

The children were also rejoiced by Motomrazevi, members of the Moto Club of Tuzla, who gave the sweets and packets to the youngest visitors at the Freedom Square.

All events at the Freedom Square are organized by the General Association of Independent Tradesmen Tuzla, Center for Culture of Tuzla, and the Public Utility Company “Pannonica.”

The New Year’s Eve celebration at the Freedom Square beginned last night at 9 pm, and along with the stars Frajle, there will be Crystal, Big Brothers Band and Nesib Delibegovic Nesko.

At the central city square there were also wooden houses, as part of the “Winter Magic” bazaar, where visitors were offered a variety of food and drinks. The bazaar will be opened until January 7th ,  ie Orthodox Christmas.
