The largest charity event in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) –”Diplomatic Winter Bazaar”, whose mission is to collect funds for humanitarian purposes, i.e. to help children and young people in BiH, was held yesterday in the hall ”Mirza Delibasic”in the ”Skenderija” Center from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This unusual event, which is ”returning” to the capital of BiH in its original format, after the online edition during the previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, aroused great interest.

The representative of this organization, Selma Antic, said that they are there to collect funds to help children throughout BiH, adding that this is a humanitarian event, the organization of which is due to a committee made up of representatives of various embassies.

Many visitors enthusiastically stopped at the stand of the European delegation and warmed up with hot drinks, and at the stand of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, which is presenting its products for the first time this year, visitors bought holiday gifts. The stands of Norway and Sweden are very popular, as well as many stands of local companies and organizations.

As part of the Bazaar, there was also an auction led by ”Pomozi.ba”, whose participants competed for vacation and travel vouchers, sports souvenirs, such as Edin Dzeko’s signed jersey, a hat of a popular Bosnian pop singer and a dress from New York Fashion Week, Klix.ba reports.
