Grlic Radman: The Concept of a civic State has ended Yugoslavia, and now they are proposing it for BiH

”Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) has disintegrated precisely because of the concept of a civic state that is being proposed for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), ” Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman said at a security conference in Munich on Saturday.

Further, he noted that the Croatian authorities had managed to make the international community aware of the harmfulness of this approach.

Grlic Radman commented in Bavaria on the recent initiative of three former members of the last convocation of the SFRY Presidency, Stjepan Mesic, Bogic Bogicevic, and Vasil Tupurkovski, who are proposing for BiH to abandon the Dayton Agreement and the ethno-national concept of government.

“They comfortably give recommendations, but in fact, they are one of the biggest culprits for this situation. Such a civic concept, which came from Belgrade, caused consequences for the former state, and the result was the Greater Serbia aggression,” explained Grlic Radman.

Slobodan Milosevic wanted to create a unitarian, centralized state governed from Belgrade, he added, stating that the former state had disintegrated precisely because of such a narrative advocated by former Croatian president Mesic, Bogicevic, and Tupurkovski, and which, as he said, would have terrible consequences for the neighboring state.
