Gulfood (source Novovrijeme)Bosnian lokum and Una River are definitely the biggest attractions at the “Gulfood” food fair which is held from 8th to 12th February in Dubai.

Apart from Bosnian lokum and beautiful River Una, BiH is represented at the fair by: Zlatna džezva, Laganini, Wivia praline, Klasov Novi dan, Zlatni puder, Jaro, Burek, then water Oaza, Love Kent gingerbread etc.

This is the largest food and hospitality food fair in the world, and this year more than 4 800 companies from 120 countries around the world are participating. The best BiH brands at the Gulfood fair are exhibited thanks to a friendly company “Balkan Trading” from Dubai, which is already working on the promotion of BiH economy in the Arab countries.

Director of the company Klas, Rusmir Hrvić said that all who have tried Bosnian lokum said they had not eaten anything like it before.

Our products such as Vispak Zlatna džezva, Laganini, Wivia praline, Klasov Novi dan, Zlatni puder, Jaro, Burek, then water Oaza, Love Kent gingerbread, and others which were exhibited attracted great attention of visitors. However, the greatest demand on our stand was for the Bosnian lokum.

“Participation in the Gulfood food fair this year represents an interesting experience for us. Reactions of visitors convince us on the correctness of our insistence on the value and uniqueness of taste Bosnian dishes, drinks and desserts that are a revelation for the whole world” – adds Hrvić.

It is expected that this year’s festival of the world’s food producers will be visited by more than 85 000 visitors from 172 countries, announced the NAP.
