draganDragan Markovic, the coach of the Handball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said that our players tonight showed that they are the team that deserves to go to the second round of the World Championship and that they were not weaker than Macedonian team.

“My team showed character when they, while losing 6 :1 not by their own fault, managed to preserve peace and return to the game. I think that, with today’s game, we showed that we are the team that should be in the second round because we were not weaker than Macedonia today“, said Markovic.

“In one moment we were better in the defense, in the second half Macedonia was better. It should be a draw. It turned out that my young players are going through one period of maturation. This was our first big competition and it is clear that the experience is the big deal.“ added Markovic.

BH handball players have recorded a second defeat tonight at the World Championship in Qatar, losing against Macedonia with the result of 25: 22.
