Michael Roth, head of the Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee, condemned Russia’s support for SNSD leader and BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik.
An influential German politician spoke about this on Twitter, linking Russia’s intentions in BiH with those in Ukraine.
“In light of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the Kremlin continues to destabilize the Western Balkans. Explicit support for Dodik’s plans for secession threatens peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region. The European Union must take a stand,” Roth wrote.
It should be reminded that EU countries, according to the information published in the media, intend to consider imposing sanctions on Dodik soon in order to dissuade him from his destructive policy in BiH.
