Help the Gladno Polje dogs survive winter!

dogsGladno Polje is a public “shelter” for homeless dogs in Gladno Polje area, Bosnia-Herzegovina. 150-200 dogs live there in appalling conditions. They don`t get enough food, and the shelter itself is in a very bad condition. The roof is leaking, there is no heating and the dogs suffer immensely. Many of the dogs have nowhere to hide from the elements.

A small, but dedicated group of volunteers are doing what they can to alleviate the suffering for these dogs. Right now we are trying to raise funds so that they can start working in much needed repairs of the shelter, to protect the dogs from the cold of the coming winter months. In addition we will try to raise as much as we can to help the dogs with food. 60-75 euros a day is needed to keep their bellies full.

They need building materials, dog houses, straw and more.

Please help us to help them!!
