Henkel ekapija.baThe construction of the “Henkel-Ceresit“ factory in Bileća is going on schedule, and it is expected to be completed in early June, it was confirmed from the company for Srna.

The managing director of the “Henkel-Ceresit“ company, Predrag Armuš, said that the works are in accordance with the latest technical, technological and environmental standards, and reminded that the factory will produce high-quality products for which the company is known around the world.

“The construction of the factory, providing new job positions for the local population, and creating new business opportunities confirm the company’s commitment to long-term investment and development of business activities“, said Armuš.

The company points out that the detailed analysis and the research of the “Henkel“ company’s market resulted in high scores on geographical position of the Bileća municipality, due to the proximity of all other markets where the products of this company will be placed.

“The proximity of the feedstock suppliers of ground calcium carbonate from Bileća with which the factory will be in direct cooperation is of great importance for selecting the location“, it was said from “Henkel“.

This factory will produce construction powder products based on cement for bonding tiles and thermal insulation. Thirty employees will be directly employed in the factory, while the number of the people working on procurement jobs and other services will be much higher, it was said.

The construction of the factory which occupies a total area of 6 000 square meters started in November last year.

The citizens of Bileća believe that the realization of this project will contribute to the revival of the economy of this region, and turn it into an important economic center.
