herzegovinaThe magazine Vogue included the beautiful Herzegovina on the list of the best tourist destinations for 2017.

This list includes places that are not classical tourist destinations which are visited by thousands of people, but places characterized by stunning landscapes, castles, cobblestone streets…

Some of them are yet to be revealed, Vogue writes, but they are all culturally strong, impressive.

Whether you want to have a meal under the open sky, take a walk with an incredible view, or visit ancient towers and fortresses, without crowds of tourists with selfie sticks, these places offer everything.

About the beautiful Herzegovina, they wrote that it is located in the south of the country and that it is an undiscovered tourist heaven.

“Herzegovina is a gourmet heaven with a lot of domestic producers of food and wine. Slow Food is in its early beginning there.”

They also noted that a must-see location is the Kravice Waterfall, and they suggest rural family homes for accommodation. Mostar and Blagaj are mandatory locations, as well as many wineries in this part of the country.
