Karaula_Tuzla_Sarajevo_The Minister of Traffic and Communication of FB&H Enver Bijedić, with the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Sead Čaušević, visited the section M-18 Podpaklenik – Kladanj of the highway, as well as two newly built bridges on that section.

“The construction works on these bridges belong to the activities carried out for the purpose of building a new highway that will facilitate the traffic on that part. The construction works are taking place on the section Kladanj-Podpaklenik of the highway Tuzla-Sarajevo, where the plan is to build 4 bridges and a tunnel”, announced the Minister Bijedić.

The highway Tuzla-Sarajevo should be 10 kilometers shorter due to the construction of the new section, added Bijedić.

The construction works on two bridges are in the final stage. The company Ceste FB&H is the implementer and the company Hering Široki Brijeg is the contractor.

“The deadline for finishing the section is 16 months, but we hope that we can finish it earlier, maybe by the end of 2014”, said Bijedić
