After the House of Representatives of the FB&H Parliament removed the Chairman Fehim Škaljić at his request, the new Chairman has not been named even though it was on today’s agenda.

No any deputy, nor any group of deputies did not propose yet the future chairman. Parliamentarian commission for selection and appointment did not get yet any proposal in regard to the new chairman.

Co-Chairman Tomo Vidović, soon after Škaljkić’s resignation, ended today’s session and announced the next one on 28 and 29 January, when they will again discuss the appointment of the new Chairman in case there are official candidate proposals.

Fehim Škaljić was relieved of duty with 83 parliamentarian votes. Nobody voted “against” and five deputies abstained.

In early January, Škaljić presented his resignation as the Chairman of House of Representatives with the argument that the party which he represents resigned from the Parliamentarian majority at the Federal level.
