House of Peoples Adopted Initiative to Dismiss B&H Minister of Security

dom narodaHouse of People of B&H Parliamentary Assembly at today’s session adopted the initiative for the reconstruction of the B&H Council of Ministers by dismissing the B&H Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić.

7 Assembly representatives voted pro for this initiative, two representatives voted against and two abstentions. 4 representatives voted “for”, two against and one abstained from FB&H and from RS representatives, two were “for” and one abstained.

SDA party launched this initiative for the dismissal of Radončič after protests of citizens on 7 February in Sarajevo, where among other things, the building of the B&H Presidency was set fire.

As stated in the initiative for the dismissal, “during that day the security situation in B&H has been significantly affected and therefore the Minister of Security should be dismissed of duties”. It was added that the “Minister of Security did not take actions within his jurisdiction to protect citizens and state properties”.
