At the initiative of the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalic, the Government of the Federation of BiH discussed at today’s telephone session the information on providing international assistance to the Federal Republic of Germany due to heavy rains and floods that caused a large number of dead and missing persons.

Prime Minister Novalic immediately sent a letter to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, in which he offered assistance in engaging the human and material-technical capacities of the Federal Police Administration and the Federal Civil Protection Administration.

It is about the engagement of joint specialist teams of these federal administrations, which can help establish the identity of persons and find and rescue the injured.

The engagement of joint specialist teams of members of the Federal Police Administration and the Federal Civil Protection Administration includes the engagement of the Center for Forensic Examinations, Expertise and Research in assisting in the identification of persons, and the Special Police Unit of the Federal Police Administration and the Federal Civil Protection Unit (with search dogs, Belgian shepherds and dog guides), who can help with finding and rescuing the injured.

The Federal Police Administration and the Federal Civil Protection Administration are in charge of taking all necessary actions to provide the necessary assistance, following the expression of needs by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in BiH.
