The four largest chains of gas stations in the Republika Srpska (RS) made a total profit of 12 million BAM last year, which is less than the earnings recorded by the companies “Hifa Petrol” and “Hifa Oil” based in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH).

Namely, the financial reports of these two companies show that “Hifa-Petrol” earned 12.3 million BAM last year, while the other member of the Hifa group “Hifa Oil” earned one million more, that is 13.3 million, writes news portal Capital, who did the analysis.

Increased number of employees

In RS, Bijeljina’s “Neskovic” had the biggest profit in the market of petroleum products last year.

Interestingly, in one year, the company increased the number of employees from 521 to 624.

In 2021, this chain of gas stations had a revenue of 167 million BAM, of which nine million BAM was profit. A year earlier, the company’s revenue was slightly lower and amounted to 140 million, and earnings amounted to 9.5 million.

The company “Nestro Petrol”, based in Banja Luka, earned 223 million BAM in 2021, but the profit was below half a million BAM and amounted to exactly 463.000 BAM. That plus was achieved with 612 workers.

A year earlier, “Krajina” earned 38 million BAM, but ended the business year with a negative gross profit of 227.000 BAM.

Sarajevo’s “HIFA Petrol” with 438 employees had a revenue of 482 million BAM in 2021, and the company’s profit this year was 12.3 million BAM, which is four million more than last year.

Other distributors from the FBiH are also following the success of the Hifa Oil Group, Avaz writes.
