The rebalance of this year’s Budget of the FBiH was adopted at the extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH. The budget was increased by 107 million BAM with the rebalance, and it amounts to more than 2.9 billion BAM now.

The adoption of the rebalance enabled 107 million BAM to be put on the disposal for construction of planned infrastructure projects that are implemented by the PE Highways of the FBiH Ltd. Mostar.

“This is a substantive amendment to the budget, which includes redirection of the unspent 107 million BAM from the year of 2017 to the current budget that are intended for the construction of fast roads in the FBiH. A total of 290 million BAM will be invested for these purposes,” stated the Prime Minister of the FBiH, Fadil Novalic.

PM Novalic explained that the amount of 87,207,037 BAM was paid to the FBiH because our country fulfilled all the requirements of the matrix of policies within the DPL project with the World Bank. Moreover, 97,214,772 BAM was allocated to the Budget of the FBiH since the previous measures from the Letter of Intent of the Extended Arrangement with the IMF were fulfilled.

Therefore, the Ministry of Finance of the FBiH changed the structure of financing this year’s budget of the FBiH in a way that they gave up from the planned sale of claims in the total amount of 60 million BAM and the planned emission of bonds was decreased by 124 million BAM.
