Even in the most difficult days of our history, during the siege of Sarajevo, the little ones found ways to have fun at least for a while.
In 1993, photographer Jose Nicolas photographed girls dressing up for Halloween at Marijin Dvor.
They wore appropriate dresses, hats and caps. One of them brought a broom and the other girl had a “magic” wand.
Sarajevo residents and other citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina were going through horror in that period, and parents tried to provide their children with happiness and “make” them escape from the harsh reality, Klix.ba reports.
