How to get to the Sea at the time of Crowds: See where the Alternative Border Crossings are (MAP)

1The summer time is here, and the holiday season with it as well.

Although the weather these days is mostly cloudy and chilly in most parts of B&H that has not stopped a columns of Bosnians and Herzegovinians to head to the sea.

Croatian coast still remains favorite destination for the most of the citizens of B&H, partly due to the finances, partly due to the proximity, and partly due to the beauty of the sea and beaches.

That, however, is causing large crowds on B&H roads and border crossings.

Although shortly before Croatia accessed to the European Union, border crossing Bijača, equipped with the latest standards, was opened, the majority of people simply could not find it after the opening.

That’s why the border crossing Doljani remained the main crossing for the majority of those who are entering into Croatia. BIHAMK advises citizens every day to avoid this crossing and to use some of the alternative border crossings instead.

Take a look at the map where you can see some of the alternative border crossings for all of those who are traveling on the sea.

These are only some of the alternative border crossings that you may use, and which BIHAMK suggests in order to reduce crowd on Doljani, but there are, of course, many other alternatives as well.
