Hrvat: the security Situation is evaluated as positive

SIPAA certain number of criminal offences in the territory of the Sarajevo Canton has recently upset the public and the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton said that all crimes have been solved and that all perpetrators have been arrested and will be prosecuted in line with law.

“We cannot expect that the capital will have no criminal offenses. We are doing everything to reduce the number of such crimes and the number of solved crimes is at a high level of we compare it to countries in Western Europe,” he told reporters.

On Friday, around 3.20 in the morning T.I. (1989) was arrested in Sarajevo on suspicion of murder in the premises of the fan club of the football club “Željezničar” at the Grbavica Stadium after he shot R.M. who died half an hour later.

The driver who hit a pedestrian at Koševo was also arrested. The investigation showed that it was an attempted murder.

Head of General Crime in the criminal investigation department Džafer Hrvat said that certain incidents disturbed the public, but that the perpetrators were arrested.

“The security situation is evaluated as positive,” concluded Hrvat.
