Humanitarian Aid Packages for Turkey and Syria blocked the Street in Bosnian Town

Hundreds of Bugojno residents started a campaign to collect aid for the residents of Turkey and Syria after the earthquakes that hit those countries. In just two days, they collected as many as 50 pallets of the most needed things.

Clothes, shoes, hygiene, food, water, household items… are just a part of what was collected. The good people of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) once again showed compassion and empathy for all those affected by this great calamity.

In addition to Bugojno, the action to collect humanitarian aid was also held in many other cities throughout our country, and the day before yesterday, after the Friday prayer, a sergia (collection of monetary aid) was organized in mosques in BiH.

To recall, more than 24 thousand people died in the devastating earthquakes that hit the south and east of Turkey on Monday, as well as the northern parts of Syria.

It is feared that this number could rise rapidly, since there are still a large number of people under the ruins, Klix.ba reports.
