Humanitarian Disaster: People in Gaza wait for Hours to get a Meal

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are increasingly facing food shortages due to Israeli attacks and the siege of the Palestinian enclave.

The Palestinians who settled in the Jabalia refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip wait in long lines every day with buckets and bowls in their hands to get the meal that means life. Among the people in the ranks there is also a large number of children who are trying to get food in order to survive in the harsh conditions of war.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find food in the north of Gaza, where thousands of Palestinians who fled the Israeli attacks have taken refuge. Residents of Gaza who have taken refuge in that area are surviving thanks to meals prepared by volunteers.

About 2.3 million Palestinians are struggling with hunger in Gaza, which has been under attack since October 7 by Israel, which has caused famine in the region by not allowing humanitarian aid to enter.

Gazans even try to survive by often making bread from animal feed because they cannot find flour.

Israel continues its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip despite a United Nations Security Council resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire.

More than 36,800 Palestinians have since been killed in Gaza, most of them women and children, and more than 83,600 have been injured.

Israel has been accused of genocide before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which in its latest ruling ordered Tel Aviv to immediately suspend the operation in Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians sought refuge from the war, AA writes.
