Hundreds of Children on the Children’s Fair

fair2The second day of the Children’s Fair was marked by the celebration of 70 years of PI “Children of Sarajevo”, as well as the record number of visits.

Several thousands of children and their parents attended the ceremony, at which attendees were addressed by the Prime Minister of Canton Sarajevo Elmedin Konakovic, Minister for Education, Science and Youth Elvir Kazazovic and director of the PI Children of Sarajevo Jasmina Congo. Hundreds of boys and girls from Sarajevo kindergartens performed on the ceremony with different recitals, songs and performances.

Children gladly visited creative workshops, stands for face painting, rubber amusement park, playgrounds, workshops organized by the police, firefighters, doctors and rescue workers, they danced with Lilo the host and favorite mascots Kodi, Ledo Bear, Monti and Flipko, and they participated in games and won prizes by partners of the fair.
