Lines for a ride in Trebevic cable car were a few hundred meters long again yesterday, and besides residents of Sarajevo and people from all over BiH, there was also a lot of tourists from all over the world who were waiting for their first ride.

A group of friends from Novi Sad, Serbia, confirmed that the cable car is one of the main attractions in Sarajevo and they added that they came to Sarajevo to have a lunch at Bascarsija and have their first ride with the cable car.

They stated that the photos that appeared all over the media on April 6, were a good enough motive for them to visit Sarajevo.

Although there is a lot of people and long lines, they said that they had a really great time, because of the beautiful spring day as well as the other people who spend their time in lines listening to the older residents who remembered the cable car from a few decades ago.

The Trebevic cable car was opened on Friday, on the Day of Sarajevo, after 26 years. There are 33 cabins, each contains ten seats, which makes the capacity of 1,200 passengers per hour. The trip to Trebevic with the new cable car lasts for about 7 minutes.
