In Belgrade, in front of hundreds of thousands of citizens, the central event of the nationwide protest “We Will Not Give Up Serbia” began, in the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, Srna news agency writes.

The gathering, which brought together citizens from all parts of Serbia, Kosovo, Republika Srpska, Montenegro and other Serbian regions, began with the Serbian anthem “God of Justice”.

The main theme of this gathering, where many Serbian flags are flying, is expected to be a message of unity and that the people of Serbia will not allow their state to be destroyed, as well as a call to respect the Constitution and the law.

The gathering will be attended by ministers in the technical government of Serbia, the speakers of the Serbian and Republika Srpska assemblies Ana Brnabić and Nenad Stevandić, as well as many Serbian public figures.

The gathering will also be addressed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, as well as Serbian citizens from various areas and strata of society.

A cultural and entertainment program was held throughout the day with performances by music stars, promoting the Movement for the People and the State and its demands. During the assembly, citizens could join the announced movement.

For this purpose, white tents, stands and prefabricated houses were set up along the stretch from Nikola Pašić Square to the Faculty of Law, where cities and municipalities of Serbia are promoted and free food and drinks are distributed.

The rally officially began yesterday at 5:00 PM, when a 200-meter-long flag was unfurled.

The rally was supported by hundreds of thousands of citizens throughout Serbia, including students who want to study, farmers, Serbs from Kosovo, and Serbs from Republika Srpska.
