Hungary’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs: The West is encouraging War

Hungarian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Levent Magyar delivered a series of scandalous messages during a press conference in Banja Luka, once again confirming Hungary’s position towards Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Today we are here in Banja Luka to show and prove our support for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, against whom a political persecution is being waged, as well as to show solidarity with all citizens of Republika Srpska, but also with all of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because Bosnia and Herzegovina is still treated by the West as its province where it can do whatever it wants,” said Magyar, interfering in the work of the judicial institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Federalna writes.

Magyar said that “it is necessary to read history books and remind ourselves of how Bosnia and Herzegovina fared when foreign policies tried to fulfill their own interests”.

“Budapest wants to participate in the process of dialogue and seeking solutions as a close neighbor, unlike those who want to interfere, and are thousands of kilometers away from the Balkans. Whatever happens to you, we will feel it too. The time has passed when Hungary was just an observer of events in the Balkans. We have opted for a policy of understanding and against the intentions of the West,” the Hungarian said.

The Hungarian stressed that “Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country that has suffered a lot in the past.”
