ibro-basaricAfter he became the world record holder in April last year in cycling on one wheel, Ibro Basarić is moving into new extraordinary feats. He became the record holder on a track of 100 meters, riding on the last wheel, and finished in only 12,6 seconds.

The new goal of this young man, who is a student in Mostar, is to break a more difficult record that his last one, which is to cross 17 kilometers in one hour using only one wheel. With this, he would break the Guinness Book of World Records.

Basarić wants to break the record of Francesco Wiedemann from Germany from October 2011, who crossed 16.994 meters. By doing this, Basarić would enter the Guinness Book once again.

‘’I will start preparing soon in order to strengthen my back more, and the record-breaking is planned for the spring. I will ride again on my BMX, which I used to break toe last record. I would probably only equip it with new parts. I am still looking for the right area to ride’’, said Basarić for Avaz.ba.

He said that an athletic track or maybe a highway would be most favorable.

‘’It crossed my mind that the corridor 5C in Herzegovina would be great’’, said Basarić, who is firmly convinced that he would be able to achieve his new target.
