IGK Canada asks Schmidt and the PIC to consider the anti-constitutional Actions of Cvijanovic

The Canadian Genocide Research Institute (IGK) asks the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt and the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) to consider the anti-constitutional actions of Željka Cvijanović, who is a member of the BiH Presidency from the Serbian people.

The reaction followed after the BiH Presidency established the Draft Law on State Property, and IGK Canada emphasizes that it welcomes the normative regulation of state property as one of the most important topics for BiH.

However, Cvijanović was against it and called BiH a “kobajagi” state (a state that does not exist).

“Thus, the continuity of denial, humiliation and blockades in the functioning of the state of BiH continues, which has significant negative consequences for state institutions, and even more so for the citizens of BiH themselves. The aforementioned statement is another proof of dangerous anti-constitutional and anti-state actions by the political of the establishment of the RS entity”, the IGK states.

They point out that being against the law that regulates the issue of state property means being against statehood, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity that belong exclusively to the state of BiH, not to the entities.

“BiH, like all other member states of the United Nations, must and should legally regulate its state property. The IGK previously filed a criminal complaint against Željka Cvijanović for denying the genocide in Srebrenica and denying the state of BiH. The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH replied to the IGK that there is no suspects that Cvijanović committed a criminal offense. Bearing in mind that the actions of Željka Cvijanović are against the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Dayton Peace Agreement, the IGK asks the High Representative and the Steering Committee for Peace Implementation to consider the anti-constitutional and anti-state actions of Željka Cvijanović from Canada, as a member of the Steering Committee of the Peace Implementation Council, to support the request to review the anti-constitutional actions of Željka Cvijanović,” they said.
