MMF_4468_0_0_468X10000In the newest regular forecast of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that was published yesterday, it is estimated that the BiH economy this year will mark a slight growth and that it would recover in the next year.

The regular IMF forecasts show that this year the BiH economy would increase by 0,5 percent.

The recovery is expected in 2014 with a forecast growth activity by 2,0 percent, and in 2018 will reach a growth of 4 percent.

The annual rate of inflation this year should amount to 1,8 as in 2014.

The current account balance for BiH should in this year, under the newest calculations of the IMF, have a deficit of -8.7 percent of gross domestic product (BDP) compared to 9.7 percent in 2012. The projections for 2014 are -7.9 percent.

The IMF publishes regular forecasts of economic growth two times a year, in spring and autumn.
