Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković attended the solemn opening of the 20th International Trade Fair Mostar 2017, whose partner is the Republic of Croatia.
During the opening of the fair, a number of high level invitees from the world of business and politics were present in Pavilion 1. A fair that has 20 years successfully connected business people from the region and the world was visited by PM Plenkovic who said at the opening that he is glad to come to BiH and that this fair will be a further step towards increasing of trade exchange and strengthening investments.
“Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia are important trade partners. In the last year, Croatia invested a billion euros in BiH, which is sufficient signal how much BiH is important for us”- said the Croatian prime minister, pointing out Aluminij Mostar as one of the important transport links between the two countries and joint work in this area.
30,000 m2 of exhibition space
After the solemn opening ceremony of the most important economic event in the region, a tour of 30,000 m2 exhibition area has begun. This year, as well as previous ones, network companies, destinations and visitors all represent promotion of goods and services.
Chairman of the presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanic with messages of support and gratitude to the organizers, said it was a great pleasure to have key people of Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia all together in Mostar, pointing out that this will create better conditions for entrepreneurs and progress.
“Mostar as a city can be proud of such event that has in some way make it a center of the whole region and deserves to be one of the key symbols of their cultural, and economic importance” – said Ivanic and welcomed the decision of Croatia to be a partner country.
Mostar Fair will host more than 800 exhibitors, and will last until 8th April.
