The development of a program to improve the production of organic food in the area of Kotor-Varoš will be finished until the end of April, confirmed the Kotor-Varoš municipal administration.
The program and criteria will be defined for granting subsidies to households that want to produce organic food on their farms.
It is planned that the next two years conditions will be put in place for the production of organic food on 15 farms in this region.
In the municipal administration of Kotor-Varoš they assert that in the valley of Dolina Vrbanje and on the northern slopes of Vlašić there are ideal conditions for the production of organic food, because it is a region that is isolated from major sources of pollution.
