Improvement of business environment

International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the municipality of Vitez have signed an agreement on implementation of project of Regulatory reform and improvement of business environment and competitiveness in BiH.

IFC is an international organization whose mission is to promote sustainable private sector investment in developing countries, thereby contributing to poverty reduction.

IFC Programs offers advisory services to support the strengthening of the private sector in the municipality of Vitez in BiH and it is managed by IFC Department for Europe and Central Asia.

The project objectives are to increase the competitiveness of municipality by reducing the costs and risks of business, creating an electronic registry (“E-register”) of all municipal administrative procedures and increase transparency in the implementation of administrative procedures at the municipal level.

The value of the project is 125,098 BAM, of which Vitez funded 8,000 KM in cash and 35,000 KM in material resources, participation in employee costs in the municipality.

The obligation of IFC is 82,098 BAM.
