Increase in Exports from BiH in the first Quarter of this Year

In the first three months of this year (January-March), exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 4 billion and 116 million BAM, which is 6.8 percent more than in the same period in 2024.

At the same time, imports amounted to 7 billion and 184 million BAM, which is an increase of 5.5 percent.

The coverage of imports by exports is 57.3 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 3 billion and 68 million BAM.

Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 688 million BAM, which is 13.2 percent more than in the same period in 2024, while imports grew by 18.6 percent and amounted to 882 million BAM.

The coverage of imports by exports was 77.9 percent.

Exports to EU countries in the first quarter of 2025 amounted to 3 billion and 38 million BAM, which is a growth of 5.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while imports amounted to 4 billion and 189 million BAM, which is 3.1 percent more than last year.

Coverage of imports by exports amounted to 72.5 percent.
