Increase in Harvested Areas recorded in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Area harvested under peas increased by 11,7%, under onion by 6,1% and under pepper by 8,1% in relation with the same period of 2018, according to Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.

Area harvested under carrot decreased by 8,1%, under tobacco by 36,6% and under buckwheat by 41% in relation with the same period of 2018.

The total production and yield most of the types of fruits decreased in relation with the same period of 2018.

Area harvested under wheat increased by 4,6% and under raspberries by 6,2% in relation with the same period of 2017.

Area harvested under strawberries decreased by 3,5% in relation with the same period of 2017.

The total production of raspberries increased by 21,2%, cherries by 39,5%, sour cherries 47,7% while the total production of apricots decreased by 29,9% in relation with the same period of 2017.
