Increase in the Number of Accounts of Business Entities blocked in BiH

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 108,472 accounts of business entities were blocked in March, 114 more than at the end of the previous month, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

By the beginning of April, 59,245 companies had at least one account blocked, which is 52 more than the previous month.

In this monthly report on blocked accounts in the Register of Transaction Accounts of the Bank, entities engaged in service activities, cooperatives, municipalities, sports and health organizations, commercial enterprises, agencies, various associations are listed.

As of the end of February, 108,358 accounts of business entities were blocked, while 59,193 companies had at least one account blocked.

In the first report of the Central Bank, published at the beginning of November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
