A Prosecutor of Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against Dušan Sladojević aka “Krvce” and “Čiča” /Uncle/, born in 1957 in Ključ, Slavko Aleksić aka “Vojvoda” /Duke/, born in 1956 in Bileća and Risto Lečić, born in 1963 in Trebinje.

The aforementioned accused persons are charged with participating in a gathering organized by the “Ravna Gora Movement of the Srpska Homeland” /Ravnogorski pokret otadžbine Srpske/ in Višegrad, on 10 March 2019, on the Square of Fallen Fighters /Trg palih boraca/ in Višegrad, and later at a site in Dobrunska Rijeka known as “Draževina”.

These accused persons are charged that, during the line-up of the members of the Ravna Gora Movement, which also included the members from Serbia and Montenegro, the accused Sladojević in his capacity of the President of the “Ravna Gora Movement of Republika Srpska” and the accused Aleksić participated in the execution of that line-up, by using military terminology and reporting, and they also held speeches that praised the Ravna Gora Movement and played and sang a song which lyrics express threat or violence, whereby they caused anxiety and fear among the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially among the returnees and the citizens of Višegrad and its surroundings.

The accused Risto Lečić is charged that, during the gathering on the square, he started singing a song he was playing on a fiddle, which glorifies the Chetnik movement, and which lyrics express threat or violence, whereby he provoked anxiety and fear among the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially among the returnees and the citizens of Višegrad and its surroundings.

These accused persons are charged with the commission of the criminal offence of Provoking Ethnic, Racial and Religious Hatred, Discord and Intolerance among the constituent peoples and others, referred to in Article 145 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
