Indonesia’s Ibu volcano, which has been showing activity since the beginning of the year, erupted again today, local authorities said.
The volcano spewed ash to a height of six kilometers.
Ibu is located on the island of Halmahera, in the province of North Moluccas.
Eruptions of that volcano have been recorded at least 95 times since the beginning of the year.
Since mid-May, Indonesia has been on the highest level of warning due to volcanic eruptions.
