Industrial Production in B&H in December increased by 1.8 percent

Industrial Production oslobodjenje.baThe industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina, adjusted by the calendar, recorded an increase by 1.8 percent in December 2015 compared with December 2014.

According to the Agency for Statistics of B&H, industrial production in December recorded a decrease by 2.3 percent in comparison with November 2015.

In comparison with December 2014, in December 2015 the industrial production in the field of mining and quarrying recorded an increase by 8.9 percent and in processing industry it recorded an increase by 4.7 percent. In the field of production and supply with electrical energy and gas, a decrease by 10.2 percent was recorded.

Broken down by areas of activity, in December 2015 compared with December 2014 the largest increase was recorded in the field of other manufacturing industries (57.6 percent) and in furniture production (47.4 percent).

The largest decrease in industrial production was recorded in the production of other means of transportation (74.9 percent) and in the production of coke and refined petroleum products (49.7 percent).
