At the B&H Ministry of Foreign Affairs interstate talks between B&H and Germany were held, on occasion of the current situation and future projects of development and political cooperation.
The head of the B&H delegation was led by the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H for Multilateral Relations Ambassador Mitar Kujundžić, and composed of representatives of the B&H ministries, representatives of the ministries of both entities of B&H and the government of Brčko District. The German delegation was led by Ulrike Maria Knotz, Ambassador of Germany to B&H, and on behalf of the Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany Rolf Lerch attended the discussions, said in a statement of the Press Office of the B&H Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From the domain of multilateral relations they discussed energy, sustainable economic development, reform of public administration, water and wastewater, and participation of B&H in regional projects.
It was estimated that bilateral cooperation in the future will also be focused on renewable energy and energy efficiency in the area of financial cooperation and on democracy, civil society and public administration.
The total approved funds including the reprogramming last year amounts to 56 million Euros, and as part of the regional funds, which will also increase and will be used by B&H, said in a statement.
