The 13th International Fair of Beekeeping and Beekeeping Products “Medena Tuzla 2018” was opened at Solni Square in Tuzla, and it gathered more than 50 participants from BiH and the region.

Visitors have the opportunity to purchase different beekeeping products, honey and herbal products, equipment and literature on the topic of beekeeping at fair prices.

The fair brought together more than 50 participants from BiH and the region. Producers of the highest quality honey and winners of many medals are on Solni Square in Tuzla.

Honey from the Balkans and BiH has the best quality in the world, said the Mayor of Tuzla, Jasmin Imamovic, at the opening of the fair.

“We conducted the 4th International analysis of honey as part of this fair. We had around 300 samples from 18 countries around the world, from three continents. The results were published this morning. This is the largest event of this type in Europe for sure,” said Sefik Civic, the President of Association of Beekeepers “Nektar” from Tuzla.

The organizer of the fair is the Association of Beekeepers of Canton Tuzla and the sponsor is the City of Tuzla.
