As part of the marking of the 50th anniversary of the Center for Balkan Studies, on 24 and 25 October the international conference ‘Balkanologija Today’ will be held in Sarajevo.
The conference will focus on problems of cultural development in Balkan countries through pre-history and history, and the problem of coexistence between cultures and civilizations in this area, as well as problems of migration and communication, and all other forms of contact through different periods in history, from prehistoric times to the 20th century.
20 expert papers will be presented from Austria, B&H, France, Croatia, Germany, Serbia, USA, Turkey and Great Britain.
The works presented at the conference will be published in the ‘Yearbook’, the annual journal from the Center for Balkan Studies ANUBiH.
